Where do you source your tallow?

We source our tallow from sustainable, grass-fed and finished farms right here in Alberta. These small-scale farmers prioritize ethical practices, animal welfare, and regenerative land care — so you can feel good about what you’re putting on your skin and where it comes from.

Does it smell like beef or animal fat?

Nope! We use high-quality, grass-fed and finished suet tallow that's triple-filtered and dry-rendered to remove any strong odour. The balm has a neutral, natural scent with a slight nuttiness from the calendula infusion.

Is it good for sensitive skin?

Tallow is rendered fat from grass-fed cows that closely mimics the natural oils (sebum) in our skin. It’s rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K — making it deeply nourishing, healing, and perfect for dry or sensitive skin.

What's the shelf life?

When stored in a cool, dry place with the lid on, your balm will last around 12 months (or longer). There are no added preservative, just real, stable ingredients.

Will it clog my pores?

Sundae Soothe is made with grass-fed tallow, which is non-comedogenic for most skin types and closely mimics your skin’s natural oils. It absorbs deeply without sitting on the surface or clogging pores. Many people with acne-prone or sensitive skin find it actually helps calm inflammation and rebalance oil production.
